This is really great!! I started listening to uplifting trance a little over a year ago and it has quickly become one of my favorite music genres. To me this sounds very similar to Armin van Buuren‘s style. He’s actually my favorite trance artist. This sounds very professional, and that kick sounds amazing! My only very small criticism is that the volume level seems a bit low for a track such as this. It could be made a bit louder with a maximizer on the master track. But I totally love this! Great job and good luck! :)

TerraNation responds:

Intense!!! Reminds me of Slayer

TSRBand responds:

Thanks so much! Love some slayer \m/

Damn dude this is epic!!! I’ve never heard you do a metal piece before, and I’m just blown away. Man I wish I had your compositional skills lol, GREAT JOB!!! :D

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Thank you so much! I don't know what you're talking about though; you're a great composer! Sorry for not having time earlier, but I just listened to "The Greatest Challange", and I loved every second of it. Keep up the great work ;)

So beautiful! I especially love the flute and the violin in this. Man you were in the zone with this one, awesome work! :)

AlbeGian responds:

Thank you so much Fate!! The flute and violin (along with the clarinet) are always a yes for me when it comes to solos and I just love making melodies with them

Wow this is sooo good!!! It sounds like it could be from an awesome soundtrack to a movie that I would totally want to watch based just on the soundtrack alone. The more I listen to this the more I love what you've done here (I'm currently listening to it on repeat lol). I'm really interested in knowing which VST's / sample libraries you used. :D

Hey FateModified!
I appreciate the time you spent in letting me know your thoughts. This piece of music was interesting to me, because, while mixing it, I felt there were so many flaws in how it sounded together that the emotional appeal I first had when composing it was drained out of me. It's a strange relationship I have with music because of the different roles I have to partake in if I were to release a finished product on my own. It first starts out with intrigue and joy during the writing process, but, since I have to wear my mixing engineer hat, I then have to think analytically to figure out how to make it sound as clear as possible while still keeping its integrity in timbre. Either way, I'm encouraged. As far as instrumentation, the strings are 8Dio's latest Solo Cello and Solo Violin (the studio quartet series), and the synths in the beginning are a mix of Rob Papen's Blue and Logic Pro's ES2 synth. I recorded my own piano if that isn't apparent by now. From 1:23 to the end, it's just 4 instruments: piano, cello, violin, and a pad synth.

Nice and chill groove, I love it! I've been wanting to try some lo-fi hip hop myself for a while. I just got Reels by AudioThing and it's really cool for that kind of thing, so I'm excited lol. Anyway great job dude, and good luck to you on this round! :)

CylrielOfficial responds:

thanks, man! good luck to you too :D

Such a beautiful composition! And the mixing and production sound really really good, great job! :)

Cool beat yo! Just wondering, what is the art that inspired this?

FelixZophar responds:

I posted it in the AIM thread.

Very fun and catchy. I’d like to hear a cover of this done in death or doom metal, that would be interesting lol. Did I hear a Discord notification at 0:10? :P

Bertn1991 responds:

Oops, I done goofed. I'm not sure how Discord made its way into my song, but all is well now. Also, that would be interesting song. You don't here a lot of cheerful, bubbly death metal.

I love the piano and emotional vibes from this! You've improved A LOT in your music production over the last year in my opinion. Keep getting better at it dude, don't ever give up! And congratulations, I just noticed you have 100 followers. :)

AlbeGian responds:

Thank you fate ^^ still have many mistakes and issues to fix and correct for future songs, but I take my time. Thx for listening!
