So I'm excited to be attempting my first ever score for a film. It's for 8dio's competition which can be found here https://8dio.com/2019/09/16/score-this-the-captain/.
8dio provided the 3-and-a-half-minute-or-so long video and they've asked for music producers to produce a score for the video in which the score features one or more of their VST's (well, of course lol). The first place winner wins a $2000 voucher for their products (VST's) and the top 10 runner-ups win their next "Hybrid" release for free. I could sure use that $2000 voucher, many of their VST's are just AMAZING and of very professional quality.
Anyway, I'm excited to attempt this contest. I love producing music and would LOVE to be a film scorer one day. This will be my first attempt at scoring a film. I hope I don't screw it up, lol. I'll let you know how it turns out. :)
