For those of you who are into video game music, who are your favorite video game music composers? I'm new to making video game music, and I'm trying to learn more about it. So far I think my favorite is Danny Baranowski, who did the music for Super Meat Boy and several other popular indie games. Who do you like? Thanks!

Kow Otani, composer of the unbeatable Shadow of the Colossus soundtrack.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DCFggNJtESA - 'The End of the Battle' says everything about the remorse that is felt after felling a colossus in that game.
Motoi Sakuraba is another incredible composer (he did the soundtrack to Dark Souls.) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr54gJZk_nM
On the subject of a non-Japanese composer, Gary Schyman and his orchestral works for Dante's Inferno were epic - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=svEQqnnVL2I
I might have to check out Danny Baranowski. I don't actually know the names of any indie game composers, so it'll be very interesting to see his works. Thank you, and take care!

Thanks for the links to the songs on Youtube. Those are some pretty epic and cinematic sounding songs. I will need much better software before I'm able to make those kinds of songs. Oh, and probably a degree in music and about 10 or 15 years or so, lol! Those are really good. Thanks for sharing :)
