Also @Cyberdevil, if I'm not mistaken, there is a way to see who was scouted by whom, but I haven't looked in a long time. Check the stats page? You may at least be able to see who you've scouted, if you can't see who all was scouted by whom.
Yeah, I'm not too excited about SoundCloud either. There seem to be a lot of bots on there pretending to be real followers, as well as people who will pretend to follow you but in reality they are just trying to advertise to you. Now I do more stuff on my Youtube channel because of that. :)

Really? How do you go about that? Do you usually ask, throw a link in the descrip, etc?
Sometimes I ask the artist before I make the video, sometimes I let the artist know after I've uploaded the video. But I always put the name of the artwork, artist, and web address in the beginning and end of the video. Plus I always put it in the description as well with the link.
From NG I never use art if it specifies on the artist's page that the work 'may not be used by anyone.' I haven't notified all of the artists yet that I used their work though. I probably should do that, huh?
Yeah I definitely would, but it's not really an issue considering you don't fit YT's monetization rules -- stupid things they are -- not like you're making beaucoup money and being a douche about it basically.
Also I'm really relieved that people actually make use of those rights specs. I was under the impression most ignored them.
@ADR3-N But the stat page went away with the redesign. ;) You can reach the scout tree for art on the bottom of that page (your own art page), but for audio I don't think there's anything similar?
Oh super weird! I'll miss that. Yeah I don't think there's anything similar for your garden variety user. May bring that up in one of the suggestion threads. Moderators can see who scouted who in their portals as a safeguard to stop self-scouting alts or scouting rings, but your average user would probably appreciate the time capsule too

Hey! Really hope they add in a 'scouted by' note with audio like they do with art some day, I didn't notice you were that guy. Thanks for reminding! Also sounds like good stuff going on here. That's the type of music that'd definitely work with a real scene. I noticed the signs too, and had a similar thought but... it just looked so lost and forgotten. Visiting, rather than enacting any ritual there. Mysterious more than menacing. Interesting with different perspectives though.
